Black Dales Pony mare Lowhouses Fiona, known as Fi.

Fiona is an extremely gentle mare with good conformation, a pretty head and an elevated Dales trot.
She was bred by Richard & Freda Longstaff at the Lowhouses Stud in Teesdale. Fiona loves to splash in any water she can find, and is often seen clambering in and out of the field drinkers. She has been known to try and roll in rivers with a rider onboard and she passes her love of water onto all her foals!
When not heavily in-foal, Fiona is Helen's principal riding pony. She is safe but forward-going under saddle. She loves long distance rides and is extremely sure-footed over rough terrain.
Fiona has produced four exceptional foals to date :
Packsfield Ella Beck - whole black filly, foaled May 2000. Becky is a broodmare here at the Kingmaker Stud. She gave birth to her first foal (Blizzard de Kingmaker) in April 2011.
Kingmaker Union Jacques - whole black colt, foaled May 2008. Jacques was originally sold to the Nipna Dales Pony Stud in County Durham as a stallion prospect, but has recently been gelded and sold on to a family home. He was backed at the end of 2011 and is safe enough to be ridden by a 7 year old child. Jacques is learning to jump and has just completed his first day hunting which he tackled with enthusiasm!
Kingmaker Adventurer - another super black colt, foaled April 2010. Finn was originally sold to the Millowbridge Stud in Essex as a stallion prospect. However, due to a change in his owner's circumstances, the stud was closed and Finn was gelded and rehomed. Finn was lightly shown as a yearling, achieving success at local and national level.
Bryher de Kingmaker - a truly beautiful dark bay filly, with an exceptional temperament, foaled 26th May 2011. Bryher was sold in February 2012 to a new home in Staffordshire.
